The Honey Pot

When going allergy free you can never have too many recipes to try.  Here are a few cook books to get you started:

The Allergen Free Baker's Handbook
The Whole Foods Allergy Cookbook
Allergy Free Desserts
Free For All Cooking
Cooking for Isaiah
The Food Allergy Mama's Baking Book

Here are the recipes found at the Hive:

GF Flour Blend
Bread Flour Blend

Breakfast

Breads

Soups

Sides and Sauces

Main Course

Dessert

And here's how to make some of our recipes "less" allergy free - substitutions for eggs, dairy, flour blends, soy, and pea butter, so you can adjust to your allergy needs.

*Disclaimer:  I'm just an allergy mom of one very allergic kiddo.  I'm not a doctor, a dietician, a nutritionist, a chef, or a baker.  Make sure these ingredients and recipes are safe for your family.  Always read labels.  And always talk with your doctor.
And as an aside, "allergy free" does not always mean healthy and good for you.  Some of my recipes are special treats and they make us feel slightly more normal.
Also, I share recipes that were a favorite at our house and I hope you find them helpful.  Most of them were typed up late, late at night and I'm NOT a coffee drinker.  So, if you find any errors, please let me know.

I hope you enjoy the recipes and you'll have to let me know if you try any of them!
